Future Ag!

Stephen and Sophie went on a daddy date to College Station and had lots of fun!  We don't care where our kids go to college, but ...

Original Freebirds on Northgate.

The Institute

Aggie Ring Monument

Renovated Kyle Field is amazing!

The MSC

Some new Aggie gear

The Century Tree -- They actually saw a marriage proposal take place under the tree while they were there!  It is a tradition for people to get engaged under the tree.

A Bucees stop on the way home.

A great day!
The other three kids and I had fun too.  We grabbed some fro yo and spent gift cards at Target.

Lovin Cub Scouts!

Badges, and beads, and pins.  Sonny loves being a Cub Scout, and I am learning all the ins and outs of the program!

The Haps

Emme is loving Girl Scouts and now is in cookie selling mode!  She has to sell 164 boxes to get a necklace!  Gulp!

Sonny sneaking selfies during Sacrament meeting at church.  :)

Stephen and I went to Austin for a work-related memorial service and stopped at Hula Hut, a Hawaiian/Tex-Mex fusion eatery that is one of our favorite places to eat in Austin.

It was good to have some time together, even though the event bringing us to Austin was sad.

Waiting on our "Mexinesian" feast.

The Tubular Tacos are Totally Tubular!

And huge!  Sadly, we ate every last morsel...

The decor is eclectic and the ambiance is inviting.  You can't really see it from this shot, but the restaurant is on a wharf and there is outdoor seating overlooking the Colorado River

Back at the homestead, Granny V and Cousin Brandon helped hold down the fort.  Some intense games of Minecraft on X-Box One and Monopoly Empire kept things entertaining!  It is nice to live close to so many family members!

Ken Call's Grandson

Harrison had a loose tooth that he was determined to pull out the other night.  So he got some carrots and started chomping down.  And . . . he ended up getting paid double by the Tooth Fairy that night.  A twofer!

The other tooth would have come out at some point anyway.  Might as well be now!

It's Official -- Teen in the House!

7 friends, 2 sisters, 1 mom, and 1 granny helped Sophie ring in the teen years with pedicures and dinner!

Can't believe we have a teen!  And what a great girl she is!
