Baby BlueAnnabella Jane Calvert came into our life 5 years ago on April 28, 2004 and instantly brought joy and comfort to us in a time of great sorrow and struggle. Since her birth, Bella Blue (aka Blue Girl, Booboo, Blue, and Boo) has developed into a funny, shy, independent, sensitive, and loving little girl. Her startling eyes still draw comments from strangers. Just the other day in McDonald's, for instance, a husband and wife stopped and stared at Blue Girl's eyes. In Spanish to each other they said, "que bonita ella." We couldn't agree more. She is precious on the inside and the outside.
Known for her quirky comments, high-pitched squeals (and screams), emotional reactions, and protective shield over (and constant teasing of) her baby brother Harrison, Bella fills a special role in our family and we are grateful to God every day for enriching our family with her unique spirit. We love you beyond words Blue!
