Halloween Fun

We kicked off our Halloween fun with Harrison's preschool party. He took his Scooby Doo outfit to school, but refused to put it on for the costume parade. Here he is with his buddy Jaden (the cute turtle to the left).

The next day (Friday, Oct. 30th) Harrison, Emme and I got to visit Bella in her Kindergarten class for a little pumpkin carving activity. Harrison absolutely loved being there with his big sis and got right in the mix scooping out the seeds!

We did our annual carving of a pumpkin Halloween morning. We tried one of those templates this year (a scary skull face) and I think it turned out pretty good! We left it on our porch all night with a battery operated tea light. Here is Sophie next to it right before dark.

Here are the trick-or-treators ready to go (notice that Harrison and Emme have already started on the candy). We drove out to trick or treat with cousins Henry and Jacob (dressed at Mario and Luigi). Harrison and Emme fell asleep on the way, so I dropped Stephen and the big girls off and then headed back home to carry the little ones to bed.

Apparently all of the costumes were a big hit and everyone had a great time. Can't wait until next year!!
