We welcomed in the New Year at the 38th annual Calvert Family New Year's Eve Party, a tradition Stephen's parents started in Buffalo, New York years ago when they were snowed in on a New Year's Eve. It was held this year at Marc and Suzanne's house and it was another fun party! We had plenty of good food, fun activities and games, and lively music. We definitely missed Grandpa Terry (Stephen's dad) this year. Although he tended to keep to himself at big gatherings, he loved for his family to get together and enjoy each other's company.
We had to leave the party a little before midnight, so here is a picture of Sophie to prove that she stayed up to see the arrival of the new year, unlike her siblings who all sacked out on the drive home.
