Thanksgiving Part 1

We had special visitors at our house for Thanksgiving this year, and we packed each day with fun, food (too much!), and family.  Both of my brothers and their families came to town, and here is what resulted.

Taylor's family arrived first.

And the cousins hit it off!

Bella and Creighty had a special bond.

We went down to Galveston for an afternoon, and the weather was perfect!

The water was cold, so the kids just dipped their feet in.

And played in the sand.

Jen was too cold to brave the water.

The following day we went to George Ranch.

And learned how they lived in Texas 150 years ago.

The kids had fun exploring . . .

. . . And trying their hand on old farm equipment.

Two city slickers.

We saw a cowboy show.

And then finished off with lunch and treats.

It was warmer that day, and the kids wanted to brave the pool, which was still pretty cold, so they jumped in!

Burrrrrrrrrrrr!

A little sunning on the driveway was needed to warm up.

Even Creighty's love for water was eventually overcome by the cold.
