The last month has been a smothering mash of sickness and more sickness. The kids have all cycled through some nasty viruses, the worst of which has been a horrible cough that I have gotten too. It has been weeks of doctor's visits, antibiotics, nebulizer treatments, vomiting, missed school days, and sleepless nights. In addition, Stephen's Mom has been in the hospital and a rehab facility for the last month dealing with pneumonia and its after effects. Needless to say, it has not been the best of times around here, and Spring Break ended up pretty busted. But toward the end of the madness, we did find time to eke out a few fun activities.

| Sophie earned tickets to a Rockets game for raising a certain amount of money for Jump Rope for the Heart, and she and Stephen went on a daddy date and had a lot of fun. |

| My Mom and I took the kids to the George Ranch on the last day of Spring Break when they were starting to come out of their illness cycle. |

| And we ventured down to Pointe West for a day this weekend. |
 |
| The weather was gorgeous, and we had fun flying kites, throwing frisbees, and building sand castles. |

| The water was a little cold, but the kids dipped in for a bit. |
