PWGC Weekend

We snuck away to the beach this weekend and stayed at Pointe West, our favorite spot in Galveston.  It was a fun way to watch General Conference and have a mini vacation at the same time!

Hey, kids, what would you think if we headed to Pointe West this weekend for a couple of days and nights?  Yay!



We started the trip by picking up Stephen a little early from work on Friday and having dinner at the Downtown Aquarium.

We hadn't eaten there in years, and the kids had never been.  It is worth the trip at least once if you have never gone.

After dinner, we made our way down to PW.

The weather was a little chilly Friday night and Saturday morning, but by Saturday afternoon it was perfect!

We had fun playing at the beach for hours.

We played indoors and watched GC in between beach outings.

And we braved the pool (really mostly the hot tub) Saturday evening.

 

 

By Sunday afternoon, we were ready to pack up and head home.  Fun times!
