Extracurricular

Sophie is doing track (off-season right now) and theater these days.  Harrison is loving cub scouts and doing tumbling (we missed the soccer sign up with the move, so that will be in the spring).  And Bella and Emme are both in piano and tumbling too.  Busy but fun times!
Pinewood Derby Prep!

Father-Son Bonding in the Garage

Harrison wanted a "Creeper" themed car from Minecraft.  Thank goodness for the internet!

Sophie found a Creeper template to print out.  We painted the car first and then mod-podged the printout on the front and sides.  The process worked and the car looked pretty cool!

Weigh-in time.  5.0 ounces exactly!

Sophie worked one of the booths -- the pit stop garage.

Cheering section!

Out of 28 total cars, Harrison's car came in 4th place overall, missing out on the medal podium by .10 seconds.  Not bad for a car that was built for looks!   Speaking of looks, he won the award for "Best Detail"!

The top 4 cars.

Scouts has been a fun experience for Sonny!

Bella, Emme, and Harrison are all doing tumbling at a new gymnastics place that opened near our house recently.

They have tons of in-ground trampolines!

And they keep the class sizes small, so the kids have lots of time and interaction with the coaches.

When it is not their session, they do homework in the stands.

Dad came home early from work this time to watch and capture some home videos.

Water break.
