First Presidency Christmas Devotional and Live Nativity

We got tickets to the First Presidency Christmas Devotional and had a nice evening there with Sam and Naomi.  The lights on Temple Square are pretty, and the Mormon Tabernacle choir sang beautifully during the program.  The night before, Stephen and Bella went shopping in the City Creek Center for a daddy date and took in the holiday festivities downtown.  And then a few days later, I took my YW group to a really cool live nativity that our neighborhood puts on, with real camels, sheep, hay, stable, and people (including an infant!).  It was 20 degrees outside, so discreet heat lamps, particularly around the"baby Jesus," were a necessity!
