40th B-day in Hawaii!!

One of the Christmas gifts Stephen gave me was a Hawaii trip during my 40th birthday week!  We just got back, and it was an amazing trip!  We stayed on the island of Oahu at the Moana Surfrider resort, which is right on Waikiki Beach, and we did a lot of fun and relaxing activities on Oahu.  We laid out on the beach, swam in the clear blue ocean water, hiked Diamond Head crater, snorkeled and saw a huge sea turtle and many exotic fish in Hanauma Bay, went to the North Shore and saw the huge waves, went to the Polynesian Cultural Center, attended a luau, saw Pearl Harbor, ate too much, and did some tourist shopping.  The weather was perfect, and the trip went off without any hitches.  So thankful for the opportunity to go!!

What a difference a 6.5 hour plane flight makes!
