Covid squelched a lot of our typical holiday plans this year, as it made its way through many of our family and extended family from mid- December to mid-January and cancelled several gatherings. But we managed to still have fun and enjoy the holidays notwithstanding the multiple illnesses (which were, for the most part, thankfully mild). We welcomed in 2022 at a beach house in Pointe West with beautiful, unseasonably warm weather, until an artic cold front blew through and dropped the temps to the 30's with extreme winds that pushed the ocean 100 yards out to sea and swept the beaches completely clean! It was like we were on another planet with the temporary, windswept seascape it created! And we got Soph off to London for her study abroad without Covid ruining things. Kudos to Harrison for his palace guard character during her send-off 20th b-day party :-) :-)!!
