Pointe West 2011

We recently returned from a 4-day stay at Pointe West. Wish we were still there. It was a great trip!

Harrison had fun in the waves, which were stronger than usual.
He had a good time this trip, as you can see on his face.

Sophie did some serious body surfing too.
The beach was just a short walk from our condo, as was the infinity pool and clubhouse.

We enjoyed the ocean breeze and our pop-up shade for several hours each day.



It was a tale of two Emme's this trip. She is getting over an ear infection, which necessitated a mid-trip antibiotic switch (thank goodness for my doctor who will call such things in without a visit) so she toggled between sweet and sour the whole time, as her facial expressions in the pictures above demonstrate!

Bella preferred pool time (and who can blame her with the good music and good food poolside) but she also enjoyed building sand castles and collecting shells.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo this time, and I think I prefer the size and layout of the 3 bedroom design we stayed in last time. We all got a kick out of Emme refusing to face forward for this picture!

We also hit Moody Gardens and the Rainforest Cafe again this year, and we were joined for part of the trip by Bella's buddy, Granny V. The two of them were heard pillow talking until wee hours of the night.

Can't wait for our next visit! Maybe someday it will be to our own place there...
