We had an impromptu cousin slumber party at our house the Saturday night before school resumed. The kids had a great time. They went and saw the new Spy Kids movie Saturday afternoon, swam in our pool until 10:00 p.m., which they thought was really cool (I am sure our neighbors thought it was not so cool with all the noise), and played the Wii in the mancave until midnight. They didn't end up going to sleep until 2:00 a.m., and of course they then awoke at 6:00 a.m. the next morning. Stephen was the facilitator and ended up sleeping on the floor himself, so he was dragging the next day. But it was a fun cap to the summer.
