Sports Weekend

Friday night Stephen got tickets to the box suite at Minute Maid Park that his company and his former law firm share.  The kids love watching events from the suite, with all the food, candy, and ice cream that come with it!  And we have a good time too.  The Astros actually won, which made the night even more fun!

Then on Saturday, Stephen and I went to the Alabama, Texas A&M football game.  I had given him the tickets for his birthday.  We made a day of it, leaving at 10:30 a.m. and getting back at 9:00 p.m.  Before the game started, we got some yummy pizza rolls from Double Daves and then parked at the LDSSA Institute building right across from the campus.  We toured the renovated MSC and then headed to Kyle Field.  It was hot and humid, and the atmosphere was electric!  Unfortunately, the Aggies lost in a barn-burner, but it was an amazing game to watch live!
