Another School Year in the Books!

Emme got an award for being like the treasure at the end of a rainbow (with rainbow skittles to boot)!

She will miss her buddy Anna.  They have been friends their whole lives.

Enjoying school awards ceremonies with our good friends, the Gratz's (Anna's parents).  We will miss seeing them regularly.  We have been close friends and neighbors (in three different places!) for the last 15 years,

Harrison got the best sportsmanship award for getting along with so many kids in the grade,  Way to go Sonny Bob!

Stephen flew into town a day early and got to attend the awards last Friday, which was a treat for him ant the younger kids.  Sadly, he missed the older kids' awards ceremonies

Harrison had good teachers and a good year back at CWE!

Sophie got the ELA student of the year award and an award for having all As throughout her Middle School Career!

Bella's Choir group received top scores at the end of the year district competition, and she made Honor Roll for the year!

We went to the Alief Ward for church to visit some of our extended family.  Sophie and Bella are showing off their highlighted hair, which they got done just in time for summer.  :)

I got mine slightly highlighted Ombre style and I really like the look!

We traded in our Expedition for a 2015, 4 Wheel Drive Suburban for the mountains!

We ate some yummy Mexican food at the same restaurant Stephen went to with his family many time growing up.  It hasn't changed much in 30 years.

Stephen is back in SLC but very soon we will all be together again as a family full time after 5 long months of being apart and Stephen commuting back and forth on as many weekends as he could.  We are very much looking forward to being together again!!
