Disney Cruise Part 4
Of the last three days of the cruise, two were spent at sea and one was spent in Key West, Florida, which was the last port of call and the only real negative about the trip. It was jut a touristy stop where they try to get you to buy trinkets and take tours. We got caught in a torrential downpour in Key West, and we were worried we wouldn't get back to the ship in time. The rain finally let up, and we walked through flooded streets to get back on the shuttle that took us to the ship. Needless to say, we were happy to be back on board. The night before stopping in Key West, it was Pirates in the Caribbean night on the ship, and there was a big party with fireworks (Disney is the only cruise line that is permitted to do on-board fireworks)! Also, on the last full day of the cruise, because Disney now owns Marvel comics, they played Iron Man 3 in the huge movie theater on the ship and let us watch it before it was officially released in the U.S. We also got to watch other movies that are still in the theater, like Oz. Only the adults in our group watched Iron Man, but the kids really enjoyed Oz. Anyway, we are already talking about going on another Disney Cruise and back to Disney World sometime in the near future! We had a lot of fun!
