End of School Year Festivities and Functions

Although Bella celebrated her actual birthday on the cruise, she had a swim and slumber party the week after we returned.

She invited a few friends, and Harrison had to invite one friend too so he wasn't the only boy!

Field day was a blast for the kids!  I was there to help that day with the food and games.
Here is Harrison with his teacher, Mrs.Cox, the last week of school.  Harrison got an award for being the kindest boy in his kindergarten class.  He does have a very kind heart.  He also excelled academically this year.  We are proud of you, Sonny!

Harrison and the kindergarten aid, Mrs.Gonzales.  She has been at the school since Sophie was in kindergarten.

Bella and her teacher, Ms.Nguyen, closing out a good year.  Bella made the Honor Roll, did great on the Star Test and was voted best actress in her class.  Go Blue! :)

Here is Bella with her other teacher, Mrs.Stamper.

Sophie also had a great year.  Here she is with Mrs. Lambert, one of her teachers.

And here she is with Mrs.Pace, her other teacher.  Sophie gave Mrs. Pace a Book of Mormon on the last day of school with her testimony in it because her class learned about Mormons in Social Studies.  Way to be a little missionary, Pups!

This is Sophie right before her 5th grade awards and graduation ceremony.  She had a banner year and it showed at the awards ceremony.  She received the Presidential Academic Award, the highest GPA in Social Studies award, and an award for being in Honor Choir!  We are very proud of all of our kids' accomplishments this year.  We are so blessed to have them in our family.

Sophie with her friend Sophia after graduation.  I can't believe Sophie will be a middle schooler next year!

On the last day of school, it is a tradition for the 5th graders to have a swim party at one of the neighborhood pools.  They had a lot of fun at the party swimming, eating pizza, using the photo booth, and jamming to cool tunes.

Soph with some more of her friends.

Then it was Doodle's turn to shine.  She had a big ballet recital and did awesome (and looked so dang cute)!

Precious.
I can't believe this little girl is going to kindergarten next year.  I get teary thinking about it.  Here is a picture from our last outing together while the other kids were in school.
Hello, Summer, here we come!
